The primary function of Assembly technician is provides assembly technical and technological expertise in their particular areas of PC assembly
Job Responsibilities
- The applicant will be responsible for hardware assembly for all PC related products. This requires assembly knowledge of PC related hardware. Knowledge in LCD assembly adn testing and SOP (Stand Operation Procedure) follow up is also required.
- Assembly for all system level products in a timely manner.
- Responsible for process all computer units (Advantech system/LCD/CPU), including hardware inspection, install, power on test and trouble-shoot in the component level when needed.
- Perform chassis level rework, upgrade, modify, test to configure Advantech product to customers configuration based on customer’s special request and instruction.
- Work and interface with PE group and supervisor, initiate and provide the right response / solution positively and professionally to solve the assembly issues to meet assembly quality targets.
- Accomplishing all tasks assigned to you.
Job Requirements
- High school or above in a technical/scientific field or equivalent experience.
- Completion of formal technical training (2+ years)
- Product-oriented certificates
- Minimum 1 years hand-on / professional experience in PC hardware assembly areas.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, and a time management skill is a must.
- Ability to manage a changing workload / priorities, meet order schedule with quality results.
- Ability to work independently, analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to motivate and support other engineers and team player.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of policies and procedures
