Job Description

The primary function of the Channel Sales Manager is to execute on a sales plan through current channel partners and by increasing the number of new partners resulting in increased our client printer sales.  Specific tasks include management of partner communications to strengthen relationships, managing leads within a region,supporting deals to ensure closure, attending trade shows and sales meetings to drive business results. 

Job Responsibilities

Performance Objectives:
  1. Update SFDC (“Salesforce”) daily with all activities and calls with resellers and opportunities
  2. Provide monthly sales updates, customer feedback on product performance/quality, actions to close the gaps in sales vs targets
  3. Ramp up sales with existing partners targeting to sell 30 VP 700s a quarter
  • Meet and know reseller
  • Quarterly training with sales people
  • Work with their marketing manager
  • Joint sales calls when possible

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education
  • At least 2-3 years of sales experience required; experience working through resellers is highly desirable
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quota
  • Experience working with a lead generation process and CRM systems
  • Ability to apply creative and persistent selling techniques to recruit and manage a portfolio of resellers
  • Proactive troubleshooting, listening and problem solving skills
  • Self-driven with superior planning and execution skills
  • Roll up your sleeves to get the job done attitude
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of marketing
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving and growing environment, with a diverse group of professionals
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
