Job Description
Performs product inspection and/or audits of in-coming material and manufacturing orders, including packaging line and manufacturing inspections. Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards. May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated. May assess draft and final label copy, using knowledge of labeling regulations. Minimizes down time by reducing production rework and recalls.
Job Responsibilities
- Performs in-coming material receiving, both inventory items and support material.
- Performs all stockroom functions include inventory acceptance, transfers to bins, inventory pulling for manufacturing orders and sales orders, inventory transactions for departmental requisitions.
- Performs shipping functions for customer shipments; including freight and international documentation as required.
- Assures all outgoing material is packaged appropriately to safely arrive at the shipping destination.
- Perform periodic cycle counts.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION:
- Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years experience
