Job Description
The primary responsibility of this position will be to support all activities related to mechanical assembly throughout production. Operate equipment and tools as needed. Assist engineering in resolving mechanical issues. Perform quality assurance on product builds to ensure customer specifications are met. Follow verbal and written instructions and procedures. Assist in developing and implementing Continous Improvement Processes (CIP) and programs. Use knowledge and experience to create new ideas to improve manufacturing times, lower costs and improve equipment. A nice to have, but not essential, is working knowledge of industrial automation and motion control systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Locate and kit materials for product builds. Identify and communicate material shortages to the Operations team.
- Cut and machine parts to dimensions and tolerances as specified on mechanical drawings.
- Assemble parts and sub assemblies into final framing products.
- Perform Quality Inspection and measurement per ISO9001 documentation including incoming materials, in house manufactured parts and final framing products.
- Red line engineering drawings and develop solutions to mechanical issues.
- Assist in packaging and delivery of items to customers when necessary.
- Schedule Shipping Pickups and deliveries. Prepare Bill of Lading.
- Ensure efficiency, safety and cleanliness of the production area.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance (oil, clean, consumable change).
- Assure overall customer satisfaction both internall and externally.Perform pre shipping final quality assurance checks and sign off on products.

- Perform customer onsite instllation of final product(s), if requested.
Job Requirements
- Good Mechanical aptitude with solid understanding of third angle projection mechanical drawings and engineering BOMs.
- Understanding of ISO quality procedures.
- 5 years hands on experience using manual milling machines. Experience in drilling, countersinking, counterboring and slotting of alumimum.
- Hands on experience with tools and saws.
- Experience red lining drawing and developing solutions to mechanical issues.
